Ever wanted to know exactly where your fundraising dollars go? Harp Athwal will find out first hand in the spring of 2010! Harp raised over $7,500 in a 2-week period for the GuluWalk, a Canadian initiative to benefit children in northern Uganda. That's the most money collected by anyone globally and as a reward, Harp will be travelling to Uganda to see his efforts up close and personal. 

"I am really excited to go to Uganda and help with the construction of the youth cultural community centre" says the University of Waterloo graduate in electrical engineering and management studies. Raised as a self-proclaimed 'tool monkey', Harp hopes his electrical and plumbing background come in handy to assist in giving these kids the same type of childhood that many of us take for granted.

 An Artez veteran since 2002, Harp leads all data centre services, security compliance, and office infrastructure, ensuring systems are in top-notch operation. Prior to joining Artez, Harp enjoyed the dot-com era in London, England, establishing an office in the heart of the city. Living by the motto: "Work hard, play hard", Harp is at his best playing sports, enjoying a Guinness, or listening to local bands around Toronto.
