Chairman & Chief Operating Officer
Supporting the Teams who Support our Clients
Artez is very well positioned in the charitable community, but we're always working to improve what we have to offer, and how we deliver our services," James explains. "My job is to support the work that gets done here for the benefit of our clients."
With a background including management roles in technology, not-for-profits and financial services, James says that his work at Artez is a vital part of a life that is about balancing family, work and community service. James juggles responsibilities beyond Artez, sometimes literally, as the father of three young children - including identical twins - and lecturing in management as an Assistant Professor (part-time) at the University of Toronto Mississauga. He also serves as a director of the Canadian Merit Scholarship Foundation, a national awards program that recognizes high-achieving high school graduates, and of the Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Arts, in Toronto.
