A Couple Minutes of Your Time Please!
We are inviting you to participate in this year's Canadian Walk/Run/Ride study. If you have ever wondered how significant the financial impact Charity "A-thons" and Peer-to-Peer fundraising are having on the Canadian charitable sector, here's your chance!
Although some studies have been performed in the U.S., there has been little effort to understand the sector as a whole here in Canada. We are collecting and making available relevant data, as we feel that everyone in the sector can benefit when we have access to current knowledge pertaining to online and offline event fundraising trends.
Note: If your 2010 fundraising numbers are not available or confirmed at this time, please share whatever other information you have available and we will follow up with you in late fall for remaining information.
Event Fundraising in Canada
Top twenty "pledge-based" fundraising campaigns in Canada generated more than $247M in gross revenue for charitable causes /organizations last year; an increase from $232M in 2008.

What will the data look like this year in Canada? We have expanded our study to cover more areas to give you more insight into event trends and success metrics. For the third year in a row, we are targeting Canadian charities that organize, implement and manage large athletic or Peer-to-Peer fundraising events, and benchmarking the top achievers and their results to provide the most current & relevant data.
We will share the results of the study with all participants in late fall once all the events are finished.
