Putting the Fun Back in Fundraising

Christy Lucas enjoys some pretty normal recreational activities – things like tennis, sailing, and cottaging in Muskoka. What is a little less typical, however, is the fact that she also likes to spend her leisure time fundraising. For several years she has enjoyed hosting events with friends for local charities -- things like theme dinners, knitting clubs, and purse parties. “Spending time with friends and family while helping to raise money for a great cause – in my mind, there is nothing better!”" Christy laughs.

Naturally, a love for fundraising is basically a pre-requisite for joining the Artez team, so she fits right in. And all this experience, when combined with her project management background, makes her a perfect Partner Manager for Artez. Christy holds a BA from Wilfred Laurier University, and a diploma in Project Management from Humber College. She's also a member of the Project Management Institute, and is proud to call Toronto home.
