Helping Non-Profits is ‘work worth doing’

Kara brings a unique combination of skills to the table in her role at Artez. Her background as an interactive designer, developer, and team manager has given her a broad understanding of the interactive space, and what it takes to get great results.

But it was when she started working with non-profits that something really clicked. “I really enjoy working with technology and helping clients create solutions that work for them,” says the Artez Client Partner, "because at the end of the day, I need to feel like the work I’ve done has helped to make a difference.”

Kara, who completed an honours biology degree at the University of Western Ontario, followed by post-graduate studies in interactive multimedia, loves the diversity that comes from working with non-profit organizations. “Each day brings a new set of challenges, a different set of requirements, and a different way for me to help my clients connect with their donors.”

An avid photographer with a keen eye for design, Kara specializes in helping clients customize the look of their Artez solution and increase its usability while decreasing administrative costs.
