Digging Deeper

With a Masters degree in Anthropology from the University of Toronto, Mike describes himself as somebody who has “spent way too much time thinking about culture.” After university, Mike devoted his professional career to supporting non-profit organizations which included 2 years in Indonesia doing human rights work.

With a more recent experience in non-profit business development, he likes to always bring it back to his original passion; “What’s important about anthropology is that it focuses on digging deeper.” This is an approach that Mike brings to his role at Artez, working with clients to analyze their fundraising goals and devise strategies involving innovative technology to help meet those goals.

Mike’s free time is all about music – he plays guitar and sings in a live band, and is also excited about fixing a 1970s Hammond organ that he found at a thrift store.
