An Early Adopter

Shane started out his Artez career back in 2002 – only he didn't know it at the time. "I was sending out emails to all my friends and family using this viral software solution, with no idea I was using one of the first versions of the Artez Solution." And he was raising a lot of money.

Artez took note of his fundraising success, and one day Shane received a phone call from Philip King, the president of Artez, hoping to learn from his experience and get his feedback. Philip and Shane kept in touch, and several years later things came full circle as Shane became part of the Artez team. "Now, I have a great job helping charities to increase their fundraising, and create deeper connections with their donors. I love how in the process, I get energized, and the client gets energized, to make their event the best it can be."

Shane stays passionate about philanthropy and fundraises for several charities in the Toronto and London areas. He holds a degree from the University of Western Ontario.
