Artez is committed to protecting the privacy of its clients and the users of Artez technology (our clients' donors, volunteers, and other constituents). Artez uses the information collected through its Internet-based tools to facilitate the processing of donations and registrations online. Artez does not sell, trade or rent personal information.

While you can visit the Artez website (www.artez.com) without registering or providing any personal information, when you visit our client applications which we host (with url's that may begin with "https://secure.e2rm.com/" or "https://secure001.uwatwork.com/"), in order to register and / or make an online donation, you must submit personal information. This information is necessary to process your registration and / or donation.

What does Artez use your personal information for?

Artez applications require that you input your name, address, email address, and other personal information in order to register online for Artez's clients' events, campaigns, etc. You will also be asked for personal information when you make an online donation. This information is used to process your donations. When a client contracts with Artez to develop an online application for its use, the client owns all data that is collected relevant to its events, campaigns and other online initiatives for which Artez is facilitating data collection. Often Artez clients use this data to communicate directly with you, as a member of its constituent base The Artez data passed on to its clients identifies which of its users have opted in for a permission-based relationship with Artez clients.

Artez may use personal account information and data collected through your registration and / or donation to generate statistics and aggregate reports for internal use and for sharing with clients and partners. These reports will not contain any information that could identify you personally.

How does Artez protect your personal information? Is it secure?

We have adopted physical and technological processes and procedures to keep your personal information safe and secure. The personal information you provide when you establish an account or place an order is secured using Secure Socket Layers ("SSL") encryption technology. We use this SSL technology to prevent such information from being intercepted and read as it is transmitted over the Internet to our own servers. Only when it reaches the Artez servers is your information decrypted and then stored on restricted access computers located at restricted access sites. We reveal only a portion of your credit card number when confirming an online transaction. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and your computer.

Does Artez share the personal information it receives?

Artez does not sell information to other organizations. Artez works with certain trusted companies to act on our behalf by performing such functions as processing credit card payments, and other electronic payments. Those entities are provided with only the information needed to perform their specific function and they may not use such information for other purposes. Artez occasionally shares web site usage data about visitors to our applications with our clients. For example, Artez may share web site usage statistics regarding a client's online fundraising event for which it using Artez solutions. Artez may share aggregate results of trends in web site usage with some of its stakeholders. These statistics and aggregate reports will not contain any information that could identify you personally. Artez reserves the right to co-operate with local, provincial and national officials in any investigation requiring either personal information -- including any personal information provided online through Artez solutions -- or reports about lawful or unlawful user activities on the Web Site.

2. if such disclosure is necessary or appropriate to site operation; or
