Tracey Bailey

The hallmarks of successful fundraising are leadership, a carefully planned strategy and an innate understanding of one's donors. With over 20 years experience in fundraising and communications, Tracey Bailey brings the right mix of leadership and know-how to her role as Vice President. Since joining KCI, Ms. Bailey has worked on a number of highly successful campaigns, including a $350 million campaign for the University of Waterloo, where she has played a strategic role in helping the University secure several 8-figure gifts. She also directed goal-breaking campaigns for the University of Guelph and Bloorview Kids Rehab and was Campaign Communications Officer on McMaster University's Changing Tomorrow Today Campaign.

Adrian Bradbury

Founder & Director, GuluWalk / Athletes for Africa

Adrian Bradbury is the founder and director of GuluWalk, a Canadian-led global grassroots movement for peace in northern Uganda. In 2006, there were 82 GuluWalks in 15 countries, with the initiative raising awareness, pushing for action and collecting over $500,000 for children's programs in the warn-torn region. GuluWalk and Artez worked together on the 2006 event and together built the online campaign that raised over half a million dollars and reached donors worldwide.

Louisa Cantelon

National Events Director, Coast to Coast Against Cancer

Louisa Cantelon is a co-founder of the Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation, a national charitable foundation dedicated to improving survival rates of children with cancer. The foundation, which is volunteer-based, develops and runs a number of regional and national health-oriented events to raise funds that are directed towards research, survivorship and support programs, namely: Tour For Kids (Ontario & Alberta, The Inside Ride and the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride).

Heather Dougherty

Director, Research, Hitwise

Heather Dougherty is Director, Research at Hitwise. Heather is a leading authority in online commerce and marketing, a result of covering the field extensively since 1997. At Hitwise, Heather provides insight into online consumer behavior and competitive intelligence to Hitwise clients. Prior to joining Hitwise, Heather was with Nielsen/NetRatings as the senior retail analyst, where she acted as project lead for custom research products. Before her time at Nielsen, she spent four years with Jupiter Research covering the online retail and commerce space, including marketing & promotions, merchandising, and personalization.

Paul Estey

Former Vice President of Strategy, Artez Interactive

Paul Estey spent the past 4 years as Vice President of Strategy for Artez Interactive. While at Artez, Paul divided his time between exposing new organizations to the power of online giving, engagement and community-building to impact fundraising successes and deepen relationships and working with Artez' current clients to refine, focus and often reinvent their online strategies. He helped organizations create brand new fundraising campaigns and events, and always sought opportunities to help organizations maximize the impact they could create with limited resources.

Allen Ford

Creative Director, Big Train Media

Allen Ford is the creative director at Big Train Media, and also runs his own design studio, Allen Ford Design. His work encompasses graphic design, brand identity and campaign development. Allen's creativity has been used by a wide range of businesses and organizations from GuluWalk and SOS Children's Villages, to the Ottawa Senators and even his favourite rock band, U2.

Martin Gill

Director of New Media, Comic Relief (U.K.)

Following four years of scientific navel-gazing at Oxford University, Martin has worked across integrated marketing and sponsorship roles within the commercial and voluntary sectors. As head of new media at Comic Relief, he was responsible for the organisation's use of digital media within fundraising, education and campaigning activities - from Red Nose Day and Sport Relief fun to MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY, LIVE 8 and in the USA, Idol Gives Back. Recently he established an agile development and strategy partnership, HomeMade Digital, working with NGOs and social ventures to support the creation and delivery of their digital vision.

Wendy Kudeba

Director of Marketing & Communications, Kidney Foundation of CDN

As part of her role as Director of Marketing & Communications for The Kidney Foundation's Ontario Branch, Wendy provides strategic management of web-based products and integrated communications programs. In 2005, Wendy led the implementation of the Foundation's national online fundraising program, which has grown significantly over the years. Wendy has also volunteered with a wide variety of not-for-profit and community-based organizations as a media relations and communications advisor.

Michael LeBlanc

He is responsible for customer acquisition, retention and brand development for all channels including television, digital and print. The Shopping Channel, Canada's only nationally televised shopping service and its leading eCommerce player, is one of Canada's most innovative and diversified retailers and recipient of the Retail Council of Canada's prestigious Multi-Channel Retailer of the year for 2007. Iain McLaren

E-Communications Manager, Kidney Foundation of CDN

As E-Communications Manager for The Kidney Foundation of Canada's Ontario Branch, Iain's role involves online strategic planning, online fundraising, e-marketing and website management. Iain works closely with the Foundation's branches across Canada to build event fundraising pages using Artez. His particular interest lies in how constituents can be empowered to support an organization's mission through online technology. Iain is a member of NTEN, the Nonprofit Technology Network. Iain is currently a volunteer with the UK-based charitable organization Running For Life (http://www.runningforlife.co.uk/), advising on website management and online fundraising. Running For Life is currently building its first school in Africa in the small rural Senegalese village of Oussouye.

Wes Moon

Prior to joining Cornerstone, Wes managed the Annual Giving program at the University of Toronto where he was responsible for raising more than $40 million to support students, faculty and research using mail, phone, internet and personal ask fundraising.

Eric Rardin

Nonprofit Services Director, Care2

Eric is a Director of Nonprofit Services at Care2, an online social network of nearly 8 million people worldwide concerned with a healthy environment and living sustainable lives. Prior to joining Care2 Eric designed and executed integrated advocacy campaigns for environmental nonprofits for more than seven years. Most recently, at the Marine Fish Conservation Network, Eric helped lead a coalition of 190 organizations to successfully reauthorize the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act, the national law governing fishing in U.S. ocean waters. Before that, at the National Environmental Trust (NET), Eric helped design and implement several campaigns including NET's ‘Take a Pass on Chilean Sea Bass' and Magnuson-Stevens Act reform campaigns. Eric also developed and led NET's marine mammal project. Eric has an MBA from the Carey School of Business at Johns Hopkins University, an MA in government and international studies from the University of South Carolina.

Elmer Sotto

Former Director of Marketplace Development, eBay

Elmer lends 11 years of consumer internet experience to ArtezInterAction '08. Most recently, he was the VP of Product and Business Operations for JumpTV, a global internet television provider that recently merged with a New York-based company called Neulion. Prior to JumpTV, Elmer spent more than 5 years at eBay, most recently as Director of Marketplace Development. At eBay, Elmer was a member of the senior management team responsible for ongoing development of eBay in Canada including strategy, operations and marketing. In 2004, Elmer spent three months in Shanghai to help establish the newly formed eBay China business.

Patrick Thoburn

Co-founder, Matchstick

Patrick Thoburn is a Co-Founder together with Matthew Stradiotto of Matchstick, a leader in the word of mouth marketing industry. Since 2001 Matchstick has designed and executed word of mouth marketing initiatives for North American clients including Chrysler, Kraft, Diageo, Samsung, and others. Matchstick has won awards internationally including the Diageo Smirnoff Double Eagle Award, the Chrysler Jeep International Marketing Council Best Practice award, and the Media Innovation Award. Matchstick's work has been featured in media outlets including Time, CBC Television, CTV, Toronto Star, Globe and Mail, National Post, Marketing Magazine, Strategy Magazine, and more. Patrick is a lawyer by training. He was named one of Canada's most influential marketers on Marketing Magazine's most recent Power 100 List.

Karen Webber

Karen joined Cornerstone in 2002, first demonstrating expertise in the area of email acquisition strategies, email deployment and campaign response management. In 2003, Karen moved to the web development team, where she has been a driving force behind Fundraising Services' Web solutions offerings. Karen combines a vast knowledge of the web and its capabilities with strong relationships building skills.
